14 Panel Flat Roof System

In February 2026 we completed this 14-panel solar and battery system in Heathfield, designed to maximise energy independence and long-term savings for the homeowner.
The system features 14 × AIKO 475 W high-efficiency panels mounted using the Van der Valk mounting system, paired with a Sigenergy 5 kW hybrid inverter and a 9 kWh battery for energy storage. A Sigenergy HomePro Backup Gateway was also installed, giving the property backup power capability during grid outages.
This system is expected to pay for itself in around 5-6 years through reduced electricity bills and smart use of stored solar energy.
